Peggy Critchfield - Owner and President of Accurate Biometrics, with a vision of making her certified small business the preferred choice in fingerprint based criminal history background checks. Peggy has guided Accurate Biometrics through expansive growth serving state, national and federal clients. Peggy’s strengths include planning for strategic development and controlling costs to customers. She is a seasoned business owner, and former corporate executive with over 10 years experience in the retail customer service industry as a buyer and industry consultant. She was a 2008 nominee for the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign, with a degree in Retailing. Peggy attends the FBI CJIS Compact Council Meetings, US Woman’s Chamber of Commerce Programs, and the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business Entrepreneurial Round Table Programs.

Jim Critchfield – Executive Vice President. Former Corporate Group Vice-President with over 25 years experience in the customer service industry. Jim has a proven track record in recruiting, hiring, coaching, training, business logistics and cost controls. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia, with a degree in Business Administration. Jim believes in investing in technology and efficiency projects that are aligned with customer requirements. He believes that “for every decision the company makes, for every asset we buy, we must ask, what will this do for our customers?”





Marikay Hegarty - Vice President Business Development / Information Technology, has over 19 years of fingerprint capture and transmission experience. Her experience includes both law enforcement and civil applications. As the Director of Records for the Chicago Police Department, Marikay directed a staff of over 400 employees tasked with managing a fingerprint and criminal history volume of 800 – 1000 daily submissions. Marikay has served on various criminal justice committees concerned with the capture and transmission of electronic fingerprint data. She currently represents the livescan vendor industry as an appointed member of the Illinois Private Security, Private Detective, Fingerprint Vendor, Private Alarm Board. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and a Masters of Science Degree in Public Services Management from DePaul University in Chicago.

Tim Daniels – Vice President of Operations / Finance, specializes in financial reporting and pro forma forecasting for middle market companies. Tim’s management experiences range from supervision of the statewide operations to implementation and management of specialized projects throughout the Midwest. Tim directly oversees the fingerprint technicians along with our customer service and accounting teams. Tim is an active participant in the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business roundtable programs and volunteer for Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, with concentrations in Accounting and Finance, from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Josh Boddiford – Vice President of Information Technology, brings more than 15 years of experience in in information systems development, application support and enterprise architecture to the Accurate Biometrics team. As Vice President of Information Technology, Josh oversees the planning and coordination of IT infrastructure, applications, information security, and operational support systems used to manage the business. Josh is also responsible for the design and development of unique biometric applications that will further define Accurate Biometrics as a leader in the live scan and identity services market. Josh holds a Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems as well as a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.



Jim Critchfield Jr. – Controller, manages the accounting operations and financial reporting at the corporate level. His expertise encompasses corporate financial planning and cross-functional process implementation that promotes simple, accurate and efficient management of accounting processes at all levels of the operation. Jim’s responsibilities also include management of the accounts receivable and accounts payable operations, along with coordinating payroll and the credit account relations. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Elmhurst College with concentrations in Accounting and Economics.



Julie Mester – Customer Service Manager, has over five years of customer service and client services experience. Julie is responsible for the management of all client and customer service operations and staff. We acknowledge that an experienced, attentive and responsive customer service department is critical to our success in delivering fingerprint services and processing. Some key components to Julie’s responsibility include coordination with clients for the scheduling and staffing of “special” onsite fingerprint sessions, coordination of technician schedules and client fingerprint sites to maximize service availability, establish and maintain a strong client to business relationship to ensure high level of service at all times, and she monitors and intervenes when necessary on customer service inquiries and concerns to ensure expeditious response.



Sean Cottrell – Corporate Training and Technology Manager, oversees the training of our employees in current technologies used on a daily basis, Level 2 technology support issues, all PM programs, and in new technologies being introduced for the first time. Sean is responsible for ensuring new fingerprint technicians are trained to operate independently, and installing new systems to make sure all employees are as productive as possible as quickly as possible. Sean is a 2008 graduate of St. Leo University in Tampa, Florida.
